The wild side of human nature has been fascinating and provoking to reflection for millennia. It refers to these aspects of our personality, which are instinctive and primary.

In Greek mythology, these powers are represented by bacchantes and satyrus. Wild beings, symbolizing the uncontrollable nature of the cult of Dionysus. The orgiastic practices in honor of Dionysus were an expression of mystical union with divinity and nature.

Each of us has an element of wildness, which can be a source of strength, life passions and independence or the cause of destructive behavior and existential problems. How we perceive and interpret our 'wild side' has a deep impact on our understanding of ourselves and our place in the world.

In the era of climate crisis, understanding this bond may be fundamental to the future of Earth and our survival.
